The RCD Archives and Collection
Created through a Millennium Grant in 2000 the RCD Archives and Collection is the official repository for the historical documents and items related to The Royal Canadian Dragoons.
The RCD Archives and Collection
* acquires
* preserves
* makes accessible documents and items by, for, and about The Royal Canadian Dragoons.
These documents and items include
* photographs
* textural documents (including letters)
* audio-visual material stored on various formats
* physical items used though out the history of the Regiment
The RCD Archives and Collection also endeavors to increase public awareness of the rich cultural heritage of The Royal Canadian Dragoons through the implementation of a comprehensive outreach program, including
* presentations
* displays
* education programs
The RCD Archives and Collection staff reports to the Regimental 2IC, who in turn reports to the Guild of the Royal Canadian Dragoons.
