The Holland Collection
During the 2008 Leliefontein celebrations Mr Michael Holland, grandson of Sgt Edward Holland VC, presented the RCD Archives with 9 original photos from his grandfather's collection. These photos depict the young Sgt and his comrades during the Boer War and the years following (cira. 1900-1902)

Due to a "Collection Spotlight" concerning this 1902 Chromo Lithographic Cigarette Card featuring Lieut. HZC Cockburn from Taddy & Co.'s "V.C. Heroes- Boer War series an email was recieved from a Mr. Karmin McKay offering to donate the other 2 RCD related cards to the Collection.
Due to the kindness of Mr. McKay the Archives is now in possession of cards featuring EJ Holland and REW Turner.
