The Regiment observe Rememberance Day at the park in 2009
The Royal Canadian Dragoons are dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of the history of the Regiment since it's creation in 1883 and in celebration of its future.  The Royal Canadian Dragoons Park promotes the remembrance and celebration of our rich Regimental past while also recognizing our service in peace and war.

Included in the Leliefontein celebrations in November 2005 was the opening and dedication of Dragoon Park.  Located across the street from the Worthington Parade Square on the old E-1 site, the park presently houses a number of our vehicle monuments (Leo C1, Centurion, Lynx Reconnaissance Vehicle and a Ferret Scout Car) but our intent is to expand the displays to include every "mount" used by the Regiment.

During 2008 this site was altered yet again with the addition of a Cenotaph to the Regiments fallen members.  This  stone monument will serve as the centre piece to a much larger memorial which will see the names of members who died while on active service etched into 4 extra sections. These sections will represent the Regiment's involvement in South Africa, The Great War, World War 2, Korea, Peace Support Operations and Afghanistan.
