On 12 August 2011, in recognition of their service as part of Recce Squadron 2RCR, Recce Platoon and the Bn Sniper Group were each presented a 105mm Leopard casing for display in their platoon area.

This past summer, B Squadron participated in Ex WALKING. Squadron morale was high on the first morning in August 2011, as the soldiers prepared for their departure into the training area for five days of troop level training.
